Welcome to Scottish-Independence.co.uk

Scottish Independence is a matter for the people of Scotland but as with many political movements it is not quite clear what it actually means.

It is our intension to cut through the political “vision” and get to the facts. We are not going to be partisan or offer an opinion whether Scottish Independence is a good or bad thing for Scotland: the truth is nobody knows. We do hope others may want to contribute to the debate and they can be as partisan as they see fit. We have yet to see.

We hope you find some answers here or at least some facts which will help clear the muddy waters and help you make the best decision you can for you, your family and friends and for Scotland.

Nicola Sturgeon on BBC Question Time Leaders Special

I thought Nicola Sturgeon came out reasonably well on last night’s BBC Question Time Leaders Special. She was calm, well spoken and clear. I have always said that I really do like her as a Politician (as far as anyone can like a Politician) I simply could not ever agree …

Scottish Not British

The Dream of Scottish Independence

There is much to compare between the concepts of Scottish Independence and Brexit. The similarities are many but the most important element is that both are Political Dreams, by which I mean they are easily visualised, easily sold by those touting them, easily accepted by the believers and yet most …
